2. Collection and storage of personal data, nature and purpose of use

a) When visiting the website

When you visit our website www.advo-gross.eu, the browser on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without any action on your part and stored until automated deletion:

• IP address of the requesting device,
• date and time of access,
• name and URL of the retrieved file,
• website from which access took place (referrer URL),
• browser used and, where applicable, the operating system of your device as well as the name of your access provider.

The above data is processed by us for the following purposes:

• ensuring a smooth establishment of a connection to the website,
• ensuring comfortable use of our website,
• evaluation of system security and stability, and
• further administrative purposes.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes listed above. In no case do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you personally.

We also use cookies and analytics services when you visit our website. Further information can be found in sections 4 and 5 of this Privacy Policy.

b) When using our Online Inquiry form

Our website provides an online inquiry form, which allows you to submit your inquiry electronically. In doing so, we collect the following personal data, to the extent you provide it:

• First and last name; where applicable, salutation and title
• address (street, postcode, city)
• phone number and e-mail address
• information on the area of law and the matter
• information on the opposing party (where applicable)

Transmission takes place exclusively in encrypted form via an HTTPS connection directly to our web server. The data is used solely to process your inquiry and to contact you.

The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). You give your consent by ticking the relevant box on the form. You may withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future (see section 9).

Processors: For the technical provision of the website and for sending and receiving messages submitted via our online inquiry form, we use Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus (web hosting and SMTP delivery via the domain advo-gross.eu). Incoming inquiries are additionally transmitted to our internal, SSL-encrypted firm portal (portal.advo-gross.eu) to enable structured further processing. Data-processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR exist with the processors. No disclosure to other third parties takes place.

The collected data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of its collection, but at the latest upon expiry of the statutory retention periods.

3. Cookies and cookie consent

a) Strictly necessary cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies required for the operation of the website. These cookies do not store any personal data and serve solely to ensure the website's functionality. They are deleted when you close your browser or automatically expire after a short period. The legal basis for storage is § 25(2)(2) TTDSG (strictly necessary storage) in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the smooth operation of the website).

b) Cookie consent (consent cookie)

When you first visit our website, a cookie banner is shown. Your choice (accept or decline) is stored in a cookie (cookie_consent) in your browser. This cookie has a lifetime of 365 days and serves solely to document your consent and to avoid the banner being shown again.

Only if you expressly consent via the banner are analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads) activated. Without your consent only strictly necessary cookies are set. The legal basis for storing analytics and advertising cookies is § 25(1) TTDSG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by deleting the cookies in your browser and calling up the banner again on your next visit.

4. Disclosure of data

No disclosure of your personal data to third parties takes place for purposes other than those listed below.

We disclose your personal data to third parties only where:

• you have given your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR,
• disclosure is necessary pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in the non-disclosure of your data,
• there is a legal obligation to disclose pursuant to Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR, and
• this is legally permissible and necessary pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the performance of contractual relationships with you.

5. Analytics tools

a) Tracking tools

The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). With these tracking measures we seek to ensure the needs-based design and continuous optimisation of our website. We also use tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate this usage for the purpose of optimising our service for you.

i) Google Analytics 4

For the purpose of needs-based design and continuous optimisation of our pages, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). GA4 is activated only if you have consented to the use of analytics cookies.

Pseudonymised usage profiles are created in this context and cookies are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing device, time of server request) is transmitted to a Google server and stored there. IP addresses are anonymised by default in GA4 (IP masking), so that no direct attribution to your person is possible.

A data-processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with Google. Data transfer to the United States takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission of 10 July 2023). Information on data protection at Google Analytics can be found at support.google.com/analytics.

You can prevent the installation of cookies by a corresponding setting in your browser; however, we point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website in full. Alternatively you can disable data collection by Google Analytics via the Google browser add-on.

ii) Google Ads conversion tracking

To statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimisation, we also use Google Ads conversion tracking (formerly Google AdWords). Google places a cookie on your device if you have reached our website via a Google ad. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification.

If you do not wish to participate in this tracking procedure, you can refuse the setting of the required cookie via your browser settings or block cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.com". Google's privacy information on conversion tracking can be found at services.google.com/sitestats/.

6. External services – fonts

Our website uses the font "Playfair Display". This font is served exclusively locally from our own web server. No connection to external servers (e.g. Google Fonts) takes place, so no personal data is transferred to third parties in this respect when you visit our website.

7. Social media – LinkedIn

Our firm maintains a company page on LinkedIn. LinkedIn is a service of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland (parent company: Microsoft Corporation, USA). When you visit our LinkedIn page, LinkedIn collects and processes personal data – in particular through so-called "Page Insights". For this processing, LinkedIn and we as the firm are joint controllers within the meaning of Art. 26 GDPR. The legal basis for our involvement is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in external presentation and communication in social networks).

On our website itself no LinkedIn plugins or buttons are embedded; therefore no automatic connection to LinkedIn servers is established when you visit this website.

If you do not want LinkedIn to associate your visit to our LinkedIn company page with your LinkedIn account, please log out of your account before visiting. Please refer to LinkedIn's privacy policy for details on the purpose and scope of data collection as well as your rights and configuration options.

8. Rights of data subjects

You have the right:

• pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR, to request information about the personal data we process concerning you;
• pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR, to demand without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate or the completion of incomplete personal data stored by us;
• pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR, to demand the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for the fulfilment of a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
• pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, to demand the restriction of processing of your personal data;
• pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to demand its transmission to another controller;
• pursuant to Art. 7(3) GDPR, to withdraw your consent once given at any time towards us, with the consequence that we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent for the future;
• pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As a rule, you may contact the supervisory authority of your habitual residence, your place of work, or the seat of our firm.

9. Right to object and withdraw consent

Where your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right, pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, to object to the processing of your personal data if there are grounds arising from your particular situation or if the objection is directed against direct marketing. In the latter case you have a general right to object which we will implement without requiring any particular situation to be stated.

10. Data security

Within website visits we use the widespread SSL/TLS method combined with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. This is usually 256-bit encryption. You can recognise whether a specific page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the lock icon in the address bar of your browser.

We otherwise use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or deliberate manipulation, partial or total loss, destruction, or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

This Privacy Policy is currently in force and is dated April 2026.
